"Josh Moore first gained notice as the teenaged frontman of Beloved, an abrasive Christian hardcore band that had some success on the church-rock circuit before splitting up around the time Moore became old enough to legally drink. That was 10 years ago and Moore has been biding his time since then, moving to Carrboro, North Carolina, and eventually emerging as one of the area's best country-leaning artists alongside Mount Moriah, Hiss Golden Messenger and other local luminaries."

iPhone photography workshop

  • honeysuckle tea house

Following the first successful event, Kruti is back to hold a second iPhone photography workshop!

iPhone Photography Workshop:

• If you’d like to take incredible photos with the only camera that you have in your pocket at all times…
• If bulky photography gear and complex photo editing software are standing in the way of your creativity…
• If you love taking photos with your iPhone but can’t figure out how to capture anything more than simple snapshots…

Then you are in the right place!

Following the first sucessful workship, you will learn some basics of photography – what makes a composition interesting, how to optimize the lighting you have, how to use simple editing tools to enhance your intention, what are the optimum camera angles for what you are trying to photograph. We will then move on to details on specifically iPhone photography. Your photographs tell a story. They capture a moment. We will use some apps in real time, so you can enhance those moments for you to cherish for years to come!

About the instructor

Kruti Desai is a mother, artist, and a photographer. She believes in capturing simple, natural and candid moments. She seeks the unusual and the artistic side of her subjects, and her creativity shows in her photographs. She has received many recognitions for her photography; her work has been featured and has won awards in local art galleries and cafes. She is the co-founder of White Chalk Photography. She has been offering this workshop locally and it has been extremely well received!
